Golf Tuition at Beedles Lake Golf Centre

At Beedles Lake Golf Centre we have a team of 2 friendly Golf Instructors, Sean Byrne and Marcus Spiesser who can use their expertise to assist you with your game. If you are a beginner, then establishing the correct swing fundamentals from the start is of paramount importance if your golf is to flourish in the future. For more experienced players in-depth swing analysis can be given using C-Swing Video Coaching where your swing can be slowed down and compared to many top Golf Professionals and faults diagnosed. We are experts and guarantee that we will improve your game.

Since 1996 I have been the Head Golf Professional at Beedles Lake Golf Centre.  Prior to this I was teaching professional at Newark Golf Club where I gained invaluable experience coaching along side Howard Bennett, former National Coach to the Golfing Union of Ireland.  His pupils at the time included Padraig Harrington, Darren Clarke and Paul McGinley. Still competing on the Midland PGA circuit, my achievements to date include winning the Leicestershire and Rutland Alliance Championships, top 40 finish in the prestigious Glenmuir National Club Professional Championship, top ten finish in the Midland Masters tournament, as well as competing in the final qualifying stages for the British Open.
These experiences, both playing and coaching have enabled me to develop an in-depth knowledge of the game and to understand what a golfer wants and needs from golf tuition. With this knowledge and enthusiastic approach I can assist you in your quest for improvement, whether you are a beginner or an accomplished golfer.

As an amateur golfer I achieved great success at Park Hill Golf Club becoming the Junior Club Champion for 2 years running, as well as winning many events each year. In 2005 I began my P.G.A. Training as the Assistant Golf Professional at Beedles Lake Golf Centre and am currently completing the final year. Competing on the Midland P.G.A. circuit over the last 2 years, achievements to date are finishing in the top ten of the Assistants Order of Merit, as well as qualifying for the Leicester and Rutland Matchplay Championship and finishing in the top 12 of the well known Glazerite Championship.
I have gained great experiences from competing with many top Professionals and attend regular coaching courses which are held at the P.G.A. National Training Academy throughout the year.

Junior Golf Tuition

At Beedles Lake Golf Centre we appreciate that juniors are the future of the game so are keen to encourage them to learn correctly from an early age, in the past we have had great success with developing many juniors who have gone on to represent Leicestershire and Rutland at County Level. We offer a 30% discount on all Individual tuition as well running Junior Groups in association with the Golf Foundation. (Please ask for details). Beedles Lake Golf Centre is part of the Golf Foundation Community Links program so is particularly keen to encourage young golfers.

Junior Golf Coaching 2010

The 2010 Junior Golf Coaching Program is now available, to ensure a place please ring 0116 2606759 (option1) or e-mail info@seanbyrnegolfstore.co.uk or alternatively call in at the Pro-Shop. The lessons are run by our team of P.G.A. Golf Professionals and are run on a turn up on the day basis, so don’t worry if you may have to miss a week or two. We are delighted that with our association with the Golf Foundation we can offer the Junior Golf Passport as a recognised golf standard that children can work towards to complete. At Beedles Lake we are very keen to encourage Juniors to participate in golf and as part of the Community Links Program have support from local schools.
